Greetings Beloved Friends & Family!
Happy New Moon in Sagittarius! Like the energy of this sign denotes, this is a time of great enthusiasm, hope and possibility! It is time for us to keep the energy moving and to focus, focus, focus on all that which we desire to create more of in the world.
We had quite the action packed and transformational cycle in Scorpio starting with a fun filled Halloween at Harbin where I went as my alias "Feather" (picture).
Then there was the election of the US's first black president! Yes change is upon us. This is an  opening and it is up to us to continue with seeing it through as we become more conscious citizens of the world. I see this as a time of reclaiming our power and coming together in community, a time of simplifying and purifying, a time of doing what is right and just!
The November 12th Pachamama Alliance luncheon was a beautiful and inspiring event and a wonderful example of all that is good in our world.  I had the privilege and honor of hosting a table of 10! We all loved it! There were 1300 people there and activist Paul Hawkens got up and publicly declared that in his opinion the Pachamama Alliance is the "most important NGO" (Non-Governmental Organization) on the planet today.
It was also wonderful to hear the wisdom of the members of the Achuar tribe who came from Ecuador  to be present and tell us what a positive impact their partnership with the Alliance has had on preserving the rainforest and their way of life. Then we heard from the Alliance's president Bill Twist as he recapped the year which was highlighted by the miracle of Ecuador being the first country in the world to re-write their constitution to give "Rights to Nature"!!! He talked about this part of the world as being a breeding ground for the infrastructure of the New Earth because of the indigenous people who are still living in a way that is harmonious with the Earth. Only makes sense given the prophesy of the Eagle and the Condor!

So forward and onward as we continue to hospice the death of the old structures that are no longer serving us and midwife the birth of the new! Yes, this is a challenging time for many. May we continue to open our minds and hearts to new ways of being and be gentle on ourselves and assist others in their time of need. We have One Earth and are One Family, may we remember this during these holy days.

Don created Bongers, hand-held massage tools based on an ancient Asian concept, after a self-induced epiphany in 1977. He has earned a comfortable living from them ever since. Bongers have also financed numerous other commercial products and tithes to environmental causes.
Don will tell the amazing story of the launch of Bongers, share some of his other products and explain how the principles of Right Livelihood guide him to make a better world.
Samples of his latest product, a rainforest drink called KA*PO*MO, will be available. Maybe even KA*PO*MO cookies too!

Transition Towns - Living at an Historic Moment of Choice |
Transition Towns is an inspiring vision and action plan for how communities can transition to an energy lean, carbon constrained, and relocalized future that is abundant, sustainable, pleasurable, and resilient. Beginning just over two years ago, Transition Towns has rapidly morphed into a world-wide movement with over 100 official sites and thousands more considering this model for positive change.
We stand at a cross roads in human history where the choices we make now about economic growth, energy usage and carbon emissions, will effect generations to come. This presentation will look at what those choices are, why they are so important, and how the Transition Towns movement offers solutions to the many challenges around security, emissions, food, and inevitable future changes.
