Greetings Beloved Friends & Family!
According to Native American folklore, this Full Moon is considered the Hunters Moon because now that the fields have been harvested they could go out an hunt for their winter's supply of meat! While we might not be going out and hunting for animals at this time, it may be wise to really take stock of what we truly need to sustain us in these uncertain times and stock up on some of those things.
Also, looking to the Mayan 13-Moon Calendar and Galactic Culture this is considered to be the Electric Moon Cycle and we are being guided to gather together and to activate and create new ways of living and being. It is through our bonding together and giving our gifts and talents in a selfless way that we will be in alignment with the cosmic rhythms that are guiding and supporting us in manifesting Peace on Earth.
So with all that said ... I've got lots of exciting events coming up and also in the works is a new weekly webclass that I'm going to be offering very soon so keep an eye out for that! In addition to my Harbin Hot Springs events, I'll be in San Francisco tomorrow for a Full Moon Ceremony at SoMa Creativity Center, then on November 2nd for Reiki Initiations in Alameda and at Fort Mason on November 12th for Pachamama's Annual Fundraiser Luncheon. If you'd like to join me for the Luncheon I have a few spots still left at my table so please let me know!

Full Moon Sound & Energy Healing Ceremony for World Peace at the SoMa Creativity Center in San Francisco. Special Weekend of Consciousness and Healing Waters!
This weekend is sure to be one to remember as we welcome the Awakening the Dreamer featured spoken word poet, professor, activist and founder of Poets for Global Justice, Drew Dellinger in a rare Saturday evening performance of his global justice and cosmology poetry. Author Alice Walker calls him a "deep and courageous poet."

Then on Sunday, October 26th, Drew and I will be joined by Anthony Ricucci, Esq. of Marin as we co-present the new and improved Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream symposium that features video insights from inspiring philosophers, scientists, community leaders like Thomas Berry, Julia Butterfly Hill and Desmond Tutu and more.
Together we will we explore a new global vision built on Sustainability, Spiritual Fulfillment and Social Justice.
We'll look at our biggest challenges and opportunities today:
- the state of our industrial world and the thinking that got us where we are today
- a new dream -- new ideas about what really matters -- leading to deep connection and surprising solutions
- how you can be part of what's emerging -- because you already are!

| Come join us for this special Late Fall Plurk! We will be ritually celebrating and doing work in the garden appropriate for this time of removing and releasing the spent and old (what is no longer useful), and preparing for the next cycle of growth. We invite you to come share with us as we engage in activities on both the inner and interpersonal levels, as well as working together to enhance the cycles of Nature by preparing the garden for Winter.
We will engage in ritual acknowledgement of the Sacred Elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water through dance and through the co-creation of a mandala. The veils between the worlds is thinnest at this time, and we will hold space for each of us to clarify and release what is no longer wanted, and to call in the new aspects of Self that we desire to embody. In the garden, we will be composting the dry stalks of plants that have given us of their fruits. We will also be constructing a digester for making manure tea that will be applied to vitalize the garden soil.
The Plurk will be Saturday to Sunday, October 25 to 26. We are also inviting folks to stay at Avalon the following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to continue these processes. The cost for the weekday stays will be just enough to cover food: $20 per day. TO RSVP visit www.AvalonSprings.org

1st Degree Initiations
Reiki (Ray'-key), the Japanese word for "universal life energy," is a simple yet immensely powerful system of energy healing.
Reiki, once activated, accelerates the body's ability to heal physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Reiki is a natural and non-invasiuve, hands on healing technique that has been used for thousands of years to treat injuries and ailments, as well as to promote general health and well being.
While Reiki is an ethical, spiritually based method of energy healing, it is not a religion. Reiki is offered to all people from all walks of life.
In Reiki, the teacher transfers the Universal Life Energy to the studen via the initiation or attunement. In the attunement or initiation process the Reiki Master uses a very ancient Tibetan technology to transmit amplified energy to the student thereby amplfying the vibratory rate of the student's body.
There are three levels of initiations. The First Degree Reiki Initation is about Emotional and Physical healing and the followoing aspects occur:
* You become a permanent channel for Reiki and you can call on this healing energy anytime anywhere for the rest of your life!
* You receive psychic protection to prevent your personal energy from being transferred to your clients, as well as disharmonious energies attaching to you from your clients.
* Your chakras and energy body receive purificaton and become attuned to a higher frequency which will accelerate your body's ability to heal, magnify your inner perception (intuition); increase your radience and self confidence ; stimulate the resolution of old problems; and increase your sense of purpose and well being.
As well, during this sacred initiation you will learn the history of Reiki, how to use the hand posions for healing, receive your Reiki Manual and become a Certified 1st Degree Reiki Practitioner.
