Happy Fall!
Happy Fall Everybody! As you can see I'm upgrading my communications!
It has been quite a full and rich time for me, I went on a whirlwind 2000 mile road trip to Sedona for the Raw Spirit Festival with my Mother and sister, Leslie! We had a great time Leslie taught Afro-Caribbean Dance and Yoga and I lead a Sound Healing Workshop and was on the "Wild Woman's Panel" with Happy Oasis! On our way home we drove through Death Valley and Yosemite! What an adventure!
So now that I'm back in the swing of things, I am pleased to announce that I will now be doing a Full Moon Sound and Energy Healing World Peace Ceremony in San Francisco on October 14th, then we have a very special Awakening the Dreamer Weekend with Global Justice Poet Drew Dellinger and then on November 2nd I'll be offering 1st Degree Reiki Initiations at a beautiful house on the Bay in Alemeda!
So I hope to see you somewhere along the way! This is a great time of year to visit Harbin Hot Springs ... the crowds have died down and the deer and wild turkeys are everywhere!

The Abundance League is a council that encourages networking, holds dialogues and features guest speakers. The Abundance league embodies the idea that by taking stock of our bountiful gifts and sharing them freely, we can turn scarcity into abundance, help each other connect to our potential, and create lives rich in satisfying experiences.
Past League gatherings have featured topics like the Green Jobs Now Initiative, sustainable communities in Russia, the birth of a local food coop, social entrepreneurship and more!
The Abundance League started in San Francisco and now has a Denver League as well as the Harbin Hot Springs group.
The topic for the October 22nd gathering is still to be announced. If you are interested in presenting to the League or would like to refer an organization or individual please let me know!

Special Weekend of Consciousness and Healing Waters!
This weekend is sure to be one to remember as we welcome the Awakening the Dreamer freatured spoken word poet, professor, activist and founder of Poets for Global Justice, Drew Dellinger in a rare Saturday evening performance of his global justice and cosmology poetry. Author Alice Walker calls him a "deep and courageous poet."

Then on Sunday, October 26th, Drew and I will be joined by Anthony Ricucci, Esq. of Marin as we co-present the new and improved Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream symposium that features video insights from inspiring philoshopers, scientists, community leaders like Thomas Berry, Julia Butterfly Hill and Desmond Tutu and more.
Together we will we explore a new global vision built on Sustainability, Spritual Fulfillment and Social Justice.
We'll look at our biggest challenges and opportunities today:
- the state of our industiral world and the thinking that got us where we are today
- a new dream -- new ideas about what really matters -- leading to deep connection and surprising solutions
- how you can be part of what's emergying -- because you already are!

1st Degree Initiations
Reiki (Ray'-key), the Japanese word for "universal life energy," is a simple yet immensely powerful system of energy healing.
Reiki, once activated, accelerates the body's ability to heal physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Reiki is a natural and non-invasiuve, hands on healing technique that has been used for thousands of years to treat injuries and ailments, as well as to promote general health and well being.
While Reiki is an ethical, spiritually based method of energy healing, it is not a religion. Reiki is offered to all people from all walks of life.
In Reiki, the teacher transfers the Universal Life Energy to the studen via the initiation or attunement. In the attunement or initiation process the Reiki Master uses a very ancient Tibetan technology to transmit amplified energy to the student thereby amplfying the vibratory rate of the student's body.
There are three levels of initiations. The First Degree Reiki Initation is about Emotional and Physical healing and the followoing aspects occur:
* You become a permanent channel for Reiki and you can call on this healing energy anytime anywhere for the rest of your life!
* You receive psychic protection to prevent your personal energy from being transferred to your clients, as well as disharmonious energies attaching to you from your clients.
* Your chakras and energy body receive purificaton and become attuned to a higher frequency which will accelerate your body's ability to heal, magnify your inner perception (intuition); increase your radience and self confidence ; stimulate the resolution of old problems; and increase your sense of purpose and well being.
As well, during this sacred initiation you will learn the history of Reiki, how to use the hand posions for healing, receive your Reiki Manual and become a Certified 1st Degree Reiki Practitioner.
