On Saturday evening, Valentine's Day, the Tremaine Gallery held an opening reception for the Art of Work, the American Mural Project installation. The place was packed with people, many who had participated in and supported the mural project, others who were seeing it for the first time. It was terrific to get such a great crowd from areas as far afield as West Hartford, Sauguerties, Pittsfield, and New York City. One of the Hotchkiss security guards mentioned that the parking lot looked like Parents' Weekend.

If you have not made it yet, there is still plenty of time. The show runs through March 8th and the gallery looks beautiful.
