Big 12 Championship

Texas defeated Nebraska for a Big 12 Championship win and a bid to the BCS National Championship on January 7, 2010 in Pasadena, California.

Sponsorship Opportunities

 All Texas Men's and Women's home basketball games are held at the Frank Erwin Center (FEC), located on campus just off of I-35.  The FEC has a capacity of 16,734, making it the largest venue in the Big 12 Conference.  With this year's Texas Men's Basketball program currently ranked No. 2 in the country, fans will be anxious to see their Horns live.
Frank Erwin Center Signage Opportunities:
* LED Balcony Rail Quadrant
* Scoreboard LED Ring
* Courtside Signage
*Videoboard Exposure
Longhorn Sports Network and Texas Athletics introduce, new this year, LED courtside signage.  The LED courtside signage will give sponsors the opportunity to do more with their signage space and creative elements as well adding a clean finish to the arena.  Each of the LED balcony rail quadrants are one of five rotating positions.  On average each sponsor receives 36 minutes of exposure per game.

Looking Ahead to Post Season

The Longhorns Volleyball team entered the NCAA Tournament ranked No. 2 in the country.  The Longhorns defeated both Texas State and TCU 3-0, in the first and second rounds held at Gregory Gymnasium, in Austin.  With these two wins, the Longhorns advanced to the Regional Championship in Omaha, Nebraska.  Their next test will be against Texas A&M on December 11th, whom they previously defeated in the State Farm Lone Star Showdown on September 30th in College Station and again on October 28th in Austin. The Longhorns earned a total of five Big 12 Conference awards as well as their first outright Big 12 Championship since 1997.

Texas Longhorns Football defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers, in dramatic fashion, Saturday, December 5th in Arlington, Texas to win the Big 12 Championship- the first since 2005. This hard fought win was enough to push the Longhorns into the BCS National Championship to face Alabama. The National Championship will be held in Pasadena, California on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 7:30 PM CST.  The Longhorns enter the game with an unflawed 13-0 record with team leader Colt McCoy named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and head coach Mack Brown named Big 12 Coach of the Year.  Limited network radio inventory is currently available for the BCS National Championship game.

There is advertisment space available for the Official 2010 Texas Baseball Yearbook.  The baseball yearbook will debut a few weeks from the start of regular season, providing the team roster, new player photos and bios, schedule information, history, records, and traditions of the Texas Longhorns.  The Texas Baseball Yearbook will be delivered to all season ticket holders as well as available for purchase at UFCU Disch-Falk Field throughout the season.  With the baseball team making an apperence in the College World Series last season, fans will be anxious to see their Horns live as baseball season rolls around.  The deadline for entry into the 2010 Texas Baseball Yearbook is December 18th.
