Dear ,

SecretHappy New Year! One of my goals for 2009 is to hear more from you! I need your input in order to publish the most pertinent and meaningful information that I can. Please email me if you have any of the following:
  1. Comments, suggestions, topics of interest.
  2. An HSP challenge, large or small, that you'd like to share. I'll anonymously publish some of your challenges in this newsletter.
  3. A desire to share your background or experience with others. Perhaps you want to be a "Featured HSP" or write a guest article about your expertise or interests.
  4. Questions about being a highly sensitive person. I plan to add an "Ask HSP Cliff" section in the newsletter.
Who do you want to be?

In ThoughtThis is a question that many people ask themselves at the beginning of a new year. Why not take the time to reflect and have an action plan throughout the year? It's always a good time to make your life better.

How many "resolutions" have you made and kept for any significant period of time? If you're like me, there were not many. Resolutions will not work without a specific, well thought out plan that can be sustained throughout the entire year.

artistWho do you have a "burning desire" to be? It all starts with you. How well do you really know yourself?  If you know yourself well, what realistic steps do you need to take to get you closer to your objective? If you're unsure about your needs, what can you do to expand your interests and knowledge to figure out what you want? Write the answers down to make your desires more focused. Don't be afraid to do this. You can always make adjustments as needed.

Highly sensitive people have a greater need to "find" themselves. We are more likely to question our reason for being. Utilize your deep-thinking capability to come up with your answers.
Tips: Maximize Your Potential!

HSP Book1. Get to know more about your highly sensitive nature. My book, Making Sense of Your High Sensitivity, is about my life as a highly sensitive person. My story will give you a deeper understanding of highly sensitive people as well as helpful insight from my personal experience. The lessons I've learned will help you recognize your HSP traits and give you the information you need to transform your life. Order before January 31st, and get free shipping.

2. Work with your strengths. In order to work with your strengths, you have to know what they are. Here's a free 56 question strength evaluation. I took the evaluation, and it was very accurate for me.

Friends3. Join our free Highly Sensitive Person Friendship Circle. It's extremely important that HSPs socialize. You'll meet other highly sensitive people in a relaxing, non-judgmental, positive, and supportive atmosphere. There will be group telephone conferences, teleclasses, and in-person events (NJ, NY, & PA area). You'll have a chance to connect with other HSPs around the country and around the world! With the miracle of modern technology, there is no excuse, time wise or distance wise, not to meet other highly sensitive people.

4. Get involved with a highly sensitive person success team. The objective of a success team is to keep you focused on your aspirations. You'll get positive support and opportunities to share your experiences. Please email me for more details on joining an HSP success team.

new year5. Create a specific plan for the year. Write down modest, realistic goals and assign specific time frames to your goals. This doesn't have to be a painful process. When you have the proper mindset and support, you will be pleasantly surprised at what you can accomplish. You'll be one of the few people who take the steps needed to keep resolutions for the new year.
Feel free to email me anytime. I would love to hear from you!

Warmest Regards,
