October is a Busy Month for HRMA's Membership
Each year, the Human Resource Management Association (HRMA) of New Mexico (NM) celebrates Diversity in October. This month is an active month for HRMA members filled with many diverse opportunities to earn HR Certification Institute (HRCI) credit, network with your fellow HR peers, give back to the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Foundation, and learn more about the various opportunities to gain access to information that will help you enhance your knowledge, skills, and abilities in the workplace as HR professionals.

Disc Behavioral Styles

We as humans have been studied for years and we basically fall into four groups when it comes to behavioral styles. Annual SHRM Foundation Event
HRMA is hosting an Annual SHRM Foundation Event on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Albuquerque Hotel and Spa. SHRM Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit affiliate of SHRM. A leading funder of HR research grants, the Foundation produces publications and educational resources to advance the HR profession. You will have an opportunity to contribute to SHRM Foundation's success via a silent auction to benefit the foundation. Winners of the auction will be announced that same evening.
Sara Zink will be our featured presenter at this event speaking about "He Said/She Said: Gender Differences in Communication." HR Certification Institute credit is pending.
