Kidrockers is part of the BYOK (Bring Your Own Kid) series) at the 92YTribeca.
92YTribeca is the 92nd Street Y's new arts and entertainment venue located at 200 Hudson Street at the corner of Canal and Hudson Streets in New York City.
The mission downtown is to bring together and inspire a diverse community of young people from New York City and beyond, including musicians, artists, filmmakers, performers, writers, educators, humorists, directors, speakers, sports enthusiasts and many others. | |
We're having a Lovefest this Sunday February 15th at 92Y Tribeca! Chairlift and The Bloodsugars play at 1pm. In between sets, kids and parents will be able to send Lovenotes to relatives, friends and musicians.

Chairlift
Chairlift's first album "Does You Inspire You" (Kanine/Columbia) features Caroline Polachek's beautiful, dreamy vocals and the band's eighties inspired, electronic grooves. The Brooklyn trio has gained national celebrity for its song "Bruises" -- the theme song for the Apple nano-chromactic ad campaign ("I tried to do handstands for you. . . . .").

The Bloodsugars
"Kooky and fun, New York City's The Bloodsugars' synthy garage rock borrows from the best of music's past. " The Boston Phoenix. "The Brookyln-based foursome takes radio-ready melodies and power chord guitar rock and blends them with dance floor beats, keyboards, and synths. Seth Herzog + Craig Baldo host.
Seth's long running weekly show "Sweet" is a staple of the downtown alternative comedy scene. He appears regularly on VH1's "Best Week Ever" and "All Access". He's been on Comedy Central's Chapelle's Show and Stella, CBS' Love Monkey, E!s #1 Single. He's been in the films "Role Models", "Prime", "The Ten", "The Baxter", and "Safe Men."
Craig Baldo (aka "Baldo") performs at colleges and clubs throughout North America and has been featured on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Last Comic Standing (finalist season 1), Comedy Centrals' Premium Blend, NBC's Late Friday,VH1 and Showtime.
