is an intimate music venue where Norah Jones played before she was a sensation eventually outgrew its tiny original space. The Living Room's new digs include a comfy upstairs lounge and, back behind the brown velvet curtains, a bigger but still intimate music space that looks enormous to those who remember the crush of chairs, tables, and bodies at the old Living Room. New York Magazine, Nightlife & Entertainment.
Kidrockers is back this fall and ready to roll with great bands, a new album, and new locations.

"... teenage kicks delivered by actual teenagers: Two recent high school grads bash out joyously hormonal power pop behind a frontman who was recently their teacher. Like School of Rock with more Kinks albums on the syllabus." Spin  "Their unique brand of danceable, crooning power pop rock is unassuming and intoxicating" - Punk Planet

After the Kidrockers show, the Subjects will appear as part of the CMJ Music Marathon in NYC (for adults).

Kidrockers celebrates the release of James Levy's new album "Blood Red Rose" -- the first album to be released in association with Kidrockers' new label "Madrockers."  NME praised LEVY's previous album "Glorious" (One Little Indian): "The euphoric strumming and heartrating drums from these New Yorkers have us feeling glad to be alive and listening to their single" NME. "Levy is the best band out of New York in years." Tim Wheeler, Ash.

James Levy will be playing at The Living Room the Thursday night before and after the Kidrockers show (for adults).
