FREE Kidrockers show this Monday at Kids' Central at The Winter's Eve at Lincoln Square Festival. Details of the show and descriptions of the bands and festival follow.

- WHEN: Monday, November 26th, 2007. Kidrockers show from 6:00 - 8:00 (immediately following the 5:30 Lincoln Center holiday tree lighting ceremony). Festival continues until 9:30 PM .

Locksley The Wisconsin bred, Brooklyn based quartet's energetic, fun shows and infectious tunes have made them one of the most high profile unsigned bands in the country. Locksley was featured in SPIN as a 2007 "breakout band", in Rolling Stone as a top 25 myspace band, and mycoke.com's favorite indie rock band. Their single "Why Can't I Be You? (Why Not Me?)" is the theme song for the MTV show of the same name and has been in heavy rotation on MTVu. Winter's Eve at Lincoln Square On Monday, November 26th stores, restaurants, cultural organizations and public spaces in the district will be buzzing with activities for both children and adults. At the same time, sidewalks along Broadway from Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle to 68th Street will be alive with performers, street musicians, jugglers, stilt-walkers and more, making for a festive fun-filled stroll through the streets of this dynamic Upper West Side neighborhood. The Lincoln Center Holiday Tree Lighting is at 5:30 followed by Kidrockers show at Kids Central at 6PM.

KiDROCKERS - Building Indie Music FAM Base Kidrockers is a concert series that began in January 2007 that brings some of the most engaging and vital artists in indie music and comedy to perform for kids and their parents. These All Ages shows are designed to bring families together to enjoy new music. Artists perform original (not specifically made for children) songs in a manner that is both authentic and kid-friendly.
