Curtis Center Barbecue to Honor & Remember
The Curtis Center had their first barbecue of the year on April 6th. The recent graduates of the transitional program were also invited, along with staff. This gathering was two-fold. Todd Vesley who has volunteered and worked as the vet's advocate is moving on to new pursuits. He will be missed by the vets and residents. We also took a moment to reflect on one of our residents who passed away recently. His name was Frederick Jacobson and he had been at the Curtis Center for one year. A blue spruce was planted on the grounds in memory of him.
