Raising Cane's Successful Raising Coats Winter Coat Drive

We at PCM have been so blessed by the efforts of owner Justin Jones and all of the employees at Raising Cane's for their hard work on the annual Raising Cane's Raising Coats winter coat drive that benefits People's City Mission. Click here for an article that appeared in the Lincoln Journal Star about the coat drive. This year they collected a lot of gently used coats that will go directly to needy people in our community who will be warmer this winter because of the generosity of Raising Cane's and their customers. THANK YOU!!

2009 Annual Banquet Recap

Our 2009 Annual Banquet was a great evening of inspirational speakers, fantastic music, tasty food and over 250 of our loyal supporters. We were graced with the company of guest speakers U.S. Congressman Jeff Fortenberry and Neil Halford. A huge thank you to both of these men for their words of encouragement and motivation. We would also like to thank the 211 Band for the excellent music during our meal. This evening was most importantly a THANK YOU to the friends of People's City Mission for all of your financial, prayer & volunteer support throughout the year. We are so grateful. Thanks, and see you there next year!

This month People's City Mission is partnering with K-LOVE listeners and other Homeless Ministries across the country in an effort to provide meals and care to people in need this holiday season.

The campaign is called Hope to the Hungry, and since 1998, K-LOVE listeners have donated enough money to provide over 1.5 million meals and care to those in need all across America...including here in Lincoln.

We want to invite you to listen to the K-LOVE Radio Network on Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Your generous donation will feed and care for the many hungry people in our local community and will provide us with an opportunity to share the hope that can start with a meal.
