2009 Food Drive truck2009 HALLOWEEN FOOD DRIVE

We had a great time Saturday night at the Lancaster Event Center!

So many people came out to participate. We had good pizza, fun games, creative costumes and fantastic music!  We collected lots of food that will feed the homeless in Lincoln.

We couldn't have done it without so many volunteers and donations from the community.  Thanks to Union College student volunteers, Little Caesar's Pizza, Pepsi Co, Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Chuck Stahl, Alan Jacobsen and so, so many others!    2009 food drive vota band

cots Cots Needed for HIS Center

We are in need of cots for our HIS Center, which provides overnight shelter for homeless men. With the change in seasons and the economy, we are overflowing and currently some men are sleeping on the floor.  If you would like to donate a cot, please bring your donation directly to the Mission at 110 Q Street. If you would like to donate to our Cot Fund, please send your check payable to People's City Mission to PO Box 80636, Lincoln, NE  68501.
 Thank you and God Bless!
