Remodeling of the future clinic building has begun.
A division of Harvest Community Church called "The Rock" volunteered and cleaned out the facility. What a blessing!
We are at present seeking to find a Volunteer Coordinator
for the Clinic.
Contact Beth Vavrina, 475-1303, if you are interested in receiving more information about volunteering at the Clinic.

The women of the Peace Lutheran Sewing Guild have been busy! Just this morning they brought 20 beautiful handmade quilts to the Mission. Many thanks to this group. Just as these quilts will bless our guests during the winter months, PCM is blessed by the generosity of the Sewing Guild and many others that give of their time and money.

Immediately following the Leadership Conference, we held PCM's Annual Banquet to thank the Mission's donors and supporters. Embassy Suites provided us with a fabulous meal as we celebrated the Mission's work in Lincoln within the past year. Bill Hybels, founding and Senior Pastor of Willow Creek Church & Association, spoke about Christ's work in his personal life. His devotion and passion for building up Christ's kingdom was truly inspirational and we were honored to have him at the banquet. Coby Mach of LIBA and KLIN joined us as the emcee of the evening. We were also blessed by Dave & Treva Baltes and 15 children of People's City Mission as they shared their musical talents with us. Thanks to everyone who attended. |

Operation Blessing

Did you see us this weekend? PCM staff and volunteers camped out at Sam's Club and both the North and South Wal-Marts to collect food and personal care items for the low-income and homeless in Lincoln. As patrons entered these businesses, they received a list of items needed by PCM. Donated food items will be used to provide a free Thanksgiving meal to hundreds, maybe even thousands, right here in Lincoln. If you would like to be a part of Operation Blessing, take your food donation to our Distribution Center on 21st and N. These items include:
- Cranberries
- Dressing mix
- Cranberries
- Yams
- Biscuits
- Green beans
- Salad dressing
- Pie mix
- Instant mashed potatoes
