| Monthly Challenge |
Did you reflect on people that influenced you in your life? Did you send notes? What happened if you did? Share your thoughts and insights. Go to MoonDance's Facebook page and click on Discussions to see/contribute to a thread for each month's challenge.
November Challenge: Creativity
This image is not intended to suggest creativity is for kids; rather to encourage you to reconnect to the playful and innocent approach to Art that you no doubt experienced as a child. Assume a benevolent audience that will LOVE your work no matter what, or better yet, imagine no audience at all, and connect with the process of creation.
Most importantly, remember that creativity is not limited to "making art". In fact, your challenge this month is to answer: What is my most pressing desire? (go big picture! what the heck!) What is one creative, concrete thing I can do TODAY to get a step closer to that?
This is creativity. Exploration. Risk taking. Problem-solving. Process. Emotion. This is Art. Live it : )

| The Practice of Contentment |

I chose this image to remind us that contentment is our birth-rite, not something we need to strive for. It hinges on our true needs being met. We must listen to the messages from our bodies and from our authentic selves to ensure our needs are met in the most basic, nurturing way.
Contentment is an awareness of sufficiency, a sense that we have enough and we are enough. It is appreciating the simple gifts of life - friendship, books, a good laugh, a moment of beauty... Being contended, we are free from the pull of greed and longing. We trust that life provides what we need when we need it. Contentment allows us to experience satisfaction with what is. We are fully present in this moment. Being content does not obstruct our dreams or thwart our purpose. It is a place to stand and view the future with a peaceful heart and gratitude for all that is.
"Manifest your vision in the World. But release attachment to the results. Trust, and allow your vision to grow beyond the confines of one human mind, to connect to the divine consciousness of our deepest and highest selves." - Lynn Weaver
In your day, invite these thoughts:
I allow myself to feel satisfied and grateful. I enjoy where I am and what I have. I am fully alive to the present moment. I trust that life is good. I trust that I am enough.
I am thankful for the gift of Contentment. It shows me that life is a gift.
