Health and Wellness

You've heard it before: Breast is Best

My fav story:
in the 60's when the founders of the La Leche League were fighting to have public breastfeeding be legal (not 'indecent exposure' - imagine!) they took it to Senate.
One of the senators said "What's the big deal?  I was bottle-fed and I'm a senator!", and she relied "Senator, if you were breast-fed, you would be President"!!

I also wonder why cows get the corner on the word "milk"?  I think if we called human milk "milk" rather than "breastmilk" that would help with the stigma.  Why not cows-milk or teet-milk for goodness sake!  "Breast-milk" the term seems absurd when you think about it in that light!

I vote human-milk or mama-milk, or just get the ruddy cows outta the picture (cows-milk is generally for cows you know!) and call it just plain, super-healthy wonderful milk!
