Chili Festival Saturday March 31 At Felix Festa Middle School
Thanks to the efforts of parent Kendall Brenner, Food Service Teacher at Rockland BOCES and vice president of the Clarkstown Education Foundation, Dorie Mc Master, the fifth annual Chili Fest will be held tomorrow night from 6-9 PM at Felix Festa Middle School. Nine area restaurants and caterers will be sharing their culinary expertise. The PTA Council headed by Joan Braunfotel has organized the annual bake-off with contributions from each school. A carnival is set up in the gym and students from our schools will be providing musical entertainment in the hallways. The Rockland Boulder's mascot will be present handing out gifts and an array of up-to-date technology items will be raffled off. Thanks to the generosity of CEF President Mike Aglailoro and his wife Mercedes, every dollar raised will be matched by them. With the weather turning colder on Saturday, the Chili Fest will provide a perfect family fun night.
