Handle this Opportunity with "Kid Gloves"
| |
What is it that we were always told when we were kids? "If you believe it and work hard enough, anything is possible. You can be whatever you want." That still isn't too far off of the truth, within reason. How would you like to become a child care expert? We have the product, resources and leads to help get you there. RMIS is the fastest growing child care writer in CA and has become one of the largest writers of child care this year. There's very good reason for that and we'd like to share it with you. Are you interested? (we learned the sharing thing when we were little, too) Email me if you'd like to learn more. Ben Bailey

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Companion - FSC Programs 311 & 313 |
Dear Valued Producer, We've been underwriting all of the policies you've been sending our way. Thank you for keeping us very busy. However, we need to communicate two very important issues that have been identified as becoming a trend, leaving us in need of your help and cooperation. Please read on to get a better understanding of our concerns.
|
Pleasure or Commute?
| Our Companion programs offer both a "Pleasure" rate and a "Commute" rate. Unfortunately, despite vehicles being driven to work (commute), vehicles are being quoted and submitted almost exclusively at the pleasure rate. This is unintentionally harming the integrity of the program and, as you know, we keep carrier relationships for very long periods by protecting them. We ask that when doing an FSC quote that you please select "Commute" rather than "Pleasure" when the vehicle is driven to work. This will ensure the correct rate, an adequate rate, and the longevity of the Companion program. Vehicles that are shown as driven to work but rated as pleasure are subject to uprate so please help us on this.

FSC Updates
| Now that we offer the benefits of Point of Sale with the policy being immediately available to you in your office, any program changes (including those that may affect the rate) will take effect as soon as they are available in FSC. Adjustments to programs in FSC are released on the 1st and the 15th of every month and will now take effect immediately regardless of whether or not you've updated YOUR rater. In order to avoid uprates, our Point of Sale process re-rates every risk to validate the rate and we update our system EVERY 1st and 15th of EVERY month. As you may know, the FSC updates are received a few days prior to the official release on the 1st and 15th. In fact, the 10/15 update is available right now so please update, it takes just minutes. We strongly suggest that you download the update immediately so that your quotes will be correct. We would hate for you to complete the entire Point of Sale process only to find out that the rate in your FSC was incorrect because you didn't update. To assist in this regard, we will provide advance notice of any changes, as we are at this time, which is notifying you that the pleasure rate will again be available on the 10/15 update. Remember, unlike most other companies, this option is for vehicles used for pleasure and NOT driven to work. Again, please use the commute rate for vehicles that are driven to work, the pleasure rate for vehicles used for pleasure and the artisan or business use rate if applicable. We will do everything in our power to keep changes on our programs to a minimum and, with Companion, there should not be more than about two changes per year.

Thank you for your understanding, help and cooperation. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or uncertainty about how our programs should be rated. We are more than happy to help and explain so that you are completely comfortable writing RMIS.
Sincerely,
