SCIC Vista 3D & ND Not only have we added two new programs in FSC, we are also making one other dramatic change to all SCIC programs. We are now accepting International Licenses in all RMIS SCIC programs to go along with our current acceptance of international licenses in our ICW and Topa personal auto programs. I know it is difficult to keep up with all of our added programs and occasional underwriting changes but we're trying to make RMIS an easier sell in your offices by accommodating as many of your requests as possible, within reason. For that, I am attaching our most current, updated RMIS Cheat Sheets.
Allow me to explain the premium discounts of SCIC Vista 3D & SCIC Vista ND and how they differ from the original SCIC Vista.
- Vista 3D stands for Triple Deductible (discount). This would only apply if a driver NOT LISTED on the policy drives a listed vehicle and gets into an accident. In this case, a triple deductible would apply in order to repair the vehicle.
- Vista ND stands for Named Driver (bigger discount). This, too, would only apply if a driver NOT LISTED on the policy drives a listed vehicle and gets into an accident. In this case, no coverage would be extended for the vehicle.
Yes, both of these options may sound a little scary but there are those perfect scenarios for them. If a driver is careful and does not let anyone drive the listed vehicles, other than those drivers listed on the policy, they can get a pretty nice discount in premium. Again, it's not for everyone but it sure benefits those that it may work for.
