NO MORE MAILING BINDS

Greetings!

Effective 11.15.2007, RMIS will offer an entirely different option for binding your New Business Personal Auto submissions.  Read below to see how this will save you time, money and sleep.

Procedure
Forever Changing the Way We Bind

Forever StampWith the neverending rate hikes taken by the post office it's time we look to alternate ways of transferring information that will save us all time and money.  Not to mention the worry of "Did you receive my submission?"  With your fax confirmation you can now answer that question yourself.

Step 1, and most important, UPDATE YOUR FSC RATER.  Without the most current update you will not be able to receive the necessary form.  Also, regular scheduled updates on the 1st and 15th are recommended to ensure you always have the most current up to date rate revisions.

Step 2, and equally important, be sure that you're set up for EFT with RMIS.  If not, click on this EFT Link to be directed to our website Forms Page.  At the bottom you will find our EFT Agreement Form.  Print it out, complete it and forward along with a voided check to RMIS by fax, 714.992.1327, or email to accounting@rmismga.com.

It's a pretty simple procedure and we believe you'll find it to be very convenient.  When bridged over and electronically transmitted to RMIS you will proceed to print the application and obtain the insured's signatures, business as usual.  This is where you'll see the difference that 1 page will make.

Consider it Free Postage, On Us!

Bind Request FormWhen printing the application after you've electronically transmitted it to RMIS, you'll notice that an additional page titled BIND REQUEST FORM will accompany your application.  Don't be alarmed.  This is supposed to happen.

Think of this page as a helpful tool or a guide that instructs you exactly what our underwriters will be looking for.  By providing the most complete submission possible it will alleviate much backend work for you in the near future.  It will remind you to ask for things like registration or confirm that the driver exclusions and uninsured motorist pages have been signed.  All things that will help protect you.  Also, it confirms to RMIS exactly what amount you authorize us to sweep from your account for the EFT downpayment.
