Mt. Washington School Knights, to be precise. I'm pleased to announce the launch of a new partnership between United Way Emerging Leaders and the school that can help each of us experience the power of Living United.

What does it mean to be a partner? It means we're committing to a new level of engagement. We'll be offering ongoing support to helping students achieve by building and sustaining relationships with students and staff. Already, Emerging Leaders have mobilized to donate brand new recess equipment and partnered in a Family Fun night.

What else will we do? That's up to you. We'd like to offer opportunities for both individuals and small groups throughout 2012. Activities might include planning a teacher appreciation day, providing activities for parent/community classes or assisting in the computer lab or cooking class.
