She was tasked with building a team that would be fully supportive of a dynamic, new culture that focused on innovative products and services. While joining a company and creating a new culture can have its challenges, McGruder jumped right in with fresh ideas. During the program, interns learn the core responsibilities of board membership, gain tools and knowledge through interactive training classes, and put their skills to the test at the board level to help make maximum impact in individual lives and our community.
