Mike Holmes Lives United

How do I Live United? I am a volunteer, an advocate for United Way and other causes, and an aspiring businessman. I am also an assistant basketball coach.

I volunteer for American Red Cross, and for the Yellow Ribbon Center to help support the troops. I am also a speaker at companies for United Way, talking about my life and about how Starfire and United Cerebral Palsy help people with disabilities.

As a member of Starfire U, I recently completed my internship with United Way of Greater Cincinnati, where I learned more office skills, networked and did public speaking. I learned a lot about United Way...

Starfire  Starfire U is a four-year program helping young people with disabilities continue their social and personal development beyond high school. The knowledge and experience gained in the program help people to become integral parts of their community.

THE COMMUNITY BABY SHOWER

We think all children should start life healthy. That's why United Way's Emerging Leaders led an effort to collect and donate supplies to new moms that need help most. Donations to the effort totaling more than $4,000 were used to support The Community Baby Shower in honor of Mother's Day.

THANKS VOLUNTEERS!

Thanks, volunteers from 17 local companies, for Living United on a Saturday. Your work at Camp Swoneky will help local youth experience enhanced social development and other educational activities - part of a supportive and healthy early foundation to help them grow into successful adults.
