Happy New Year!!!! We are so excited about 2011! We have a BIG vision for this year because we serve a BIG GOD!!! We are believing for God to enlarge the outreaches this year to include more areas of the Cairns region, as well as the communities north of us where many of the indigenous live with no one to minister the Word of God to them. "What about the islands?", you ask. We have not forgotten them! We have several opportunities at the moment and are seeking God as to the direction He would have us to go. We will be in the island nations in 2011!
As the prophet Isaiah said; "I have called you in righteousness, and will uphold you and keep you and will give you for a covenant to the people and for a light to the Gentiles. To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house." Our goal for 2011 is to reach the lost and set the captives free!
Every day, we are praying for the sick, for those hurting from life's disappointments, and encouraging broken people that Jesus is the answer they seek. We encourage you to allow God to use you in 2011 to reach those around you. In an unsure world, people are seeking the comfort that comes in knowing God, and experiencing His love, joy and peace. You are an important part of the Kingdom of God. In 2011, take your place, run your race, and win!

| Christmas Children's Outreach | |
Our Christmas Children's Outreach was a great success! Despite the heat, we had 22 children and several parents join us for a fun morning celebrating Jesus' birth.
The children enjoyed playing games, singing carols led by Hannah and Jessica, and hearing the story about the gift that changed the world - Jesus!
 One little boy named Jordan received Jesus. (Pictured praying with Rachel.) His Mother looked on as Jordan prayed and was very touched. She later told us that; "He really needed this!" Later, reflecting on the day, we were reminded of the shepherd that left the 99, to go after the 1 that was lost. This was Jordan's day!
 Thanks to everyone for your support of this event! You can see by the pictures that the children enjoyed their Christmas presents very much!

We are pleased to tell you that, through the shelter and hospital ministry, we have had 7 more people receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior in December!
 Also, we have had 3 more doctor-documented, miracle healings! Several people we have the privilege to minister to, in a homeless shelter, had the wonderful gift of celebrating Christmas with their families, after God had restored their relationships through His grace and power! Praise God, He is the Healer of our physical bodies and of broken hearts!
 Stephen was asked to visit an indigenous man, named Edward (pictured,) in the hospital. After Edward received Jesus, Stephen prayed with him for healing in his heart. Edward was scheduled for a 5 bypass surgery due to blockages. Edward said he could believe that the doctors opened him up they would find it wasn't as bad as they thought and it would be a quick and easy surgery. Well, God met Edward's faith! When they took Edward for final tests before his surgery, they found that there was only one small blockage which could be treated with a stint and no heart surgery was needed!!! God is so good!!!!
 On Christmas Eve, we had a banquet with our church members. It was such a joy for us to look at these precious people God has placed in our lives, and see how He has worked in each of them! We are thankful for each one and look forward to seeing them produce much fruit as they seek God's plan for their lives. Thank you to all of you who helped us take our place in God's plan and who generously support this ministry!
