| Wilderness Outcry-Poplar Bluff, MO |
This summer we focused on our beloved country-America. Normally, we plan our summers traveling to other nations ministering, but the Lord directed us to participate in an "old-fashioned tent meeting" in Poplar Bluff, MO, in order to pray for the condition of our homeland. For 5 days we prayed, fasted, worshiped the Lord, and cried out in repentance for our country. Well over 700 people traveled to the heartland of America to join in prayer for the week. Thirty-eight states and 6 countries were represented among the attendees. |
| Praying for Awakening |
We believe that our nation desperately needs to turn back to the Lord. Through this prayer event, and many more like them happening all across the country, we see an awakening beginning to stir. Please keep America in prayer! |
| The Galilean Church |
Located in the heart of the Cherokee Nation is the Galilean Church. It was founded by Rod's great-grandfather, Poppy Reed. He was a holiness preacher known for the gift of healing and miracles. The church was passed on to Poppy's grandson, Leighton Reed.
While traveling through Oklahoma during the summer Rod wanted to visit his cousin's church. The Lord led Pastor Leighton to give us an impromptu opportunity to minister to the congregation. We both were honored to give encouraging words to several, pray for the sick and minister to others who had needs. Toward the end of the service we were privileged to lay hands on and commission to ministry several full-blooded Cherokee Christians. The Lord is up to a new thing with America's First Nations People in Kansas, Oklahoma. We'll keep you updated as more develops. |
| Ruthanne Garlock |
A dear friend, missionary, author, teacher & tremendous intercessor, Ruthanne Garlock, met us in Poplar Bluff to pray for the nation. She is dressed in her "going-to-war" outfit. Ruth Anne and her late husband, John, were very actively involved with First Nations' People. The weekend before the prayer event she attended a very special ceremony in which she was formally adopted into the Cheyenne tribe. With that honor she has leadership authority to speak to the Cheyenne as a respected leader and has the great ability now to win the hearts of many to Christ! |

| 25 years! | | On June 1st, Rod and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary, as well as our 25th year in ministry! We can hardly believe we just commemorated these two milestones in our lives. The future is filled with vision as we anticipate spending the next twenty-five years serving the Lord side by side!
