Greetings!

In John 4:35, Jesus told His disciples to lift up their eyes and look on the fields; for they are white and ready for harvest. He is still saying the same thing to the church today. If we would slow down and look past our busy schedules, we would see there is a harvest all around us. People are ready to receive Jesus.

They are waiting for someone to come to them and tell them the good news. It may involve going around the world or it may take crossing a street, knocking on a door, or pausing long enough to ask a stranger if they are okay.  Our nation needs a revival of Christians who cry for the hurting, lost, and dying in this land. Christians who are moved with compassion to reach out to the world around them. On October 24th, we did an outreach with World Outreach Church here in Tulsa. We went to a low-income, probably no-income in most cases, apartment complex. We set up our trailer, turned the music on, set up simple games and watched as the children and adults came. People are very curious about why you would come to them. We welcomed everyone, we were friendly, we talked to them and showed our interest in them. Rachel preached the salvation message. What a precious gift to be the one to tell these people, whom God loves so much and was longing to reach, about His son Jesus. When Rachel gave the offer to come forward and receive Jesus, 35 children and 8 adults responded and prayed with her! Hallelujah!
Setting the Captives Free

In the prison ministry this month, Stephen preached out of Ecclesiastics 3. He has been encouraging the men that what God does will always stand. What He promises will always be true and they can have confidence, as born again believers, that what they are believing for, in line with God's word, will be done. These men always come hungry, wanting to hear good news and wanting to know more about God. Many are drawn to come without even knowing why.

For example; Michael was new this month; and after hearing Stephen preach, he received Jesus as his Savior! Later, he shared that he had been told to expect 25 years at his sentencing by his lawyers but only got 12 years. He said he just knew it had to be God "looking out for him" and that he needed God in his life, so he came to the meeting. Praise God!  Several men re-dedicated their lives to the Lord and many shared testimonies of what God had done for them after we prayed with them for specific needs. These men know better than anyone what the grace and mercy of God can do. Man can devise natural plans to "reform" these men but only God can change a person's heart, only He has the power to make old things pass away and all things to become new. That's why prison ministry is so important.

Kid's Connection

The kids were involved in the outreach we did with World Outreach Church. This time with Jessica and Hannah both doing face painting before and after and singing a song during the outreach. We are proud of them for always jumping in whenever needed. Even Matthew (5), helped with set-up and clean-up! The kids love seeing people get saved and are very excited to be a part of that special moment in a person's life, especially a child's life. Hannah (10), made an interesting observation following the outreach and we thought we would share it with you. "I noticed that most of the boys that came to have us paint their faces wanted to have the name of a sports team, or a fighter or a wrestler on their face. But then after getting saved, those boys came back and asked us if we would paint a cross on their face. It was like they wanted to show on the outside the change on the inside. I thought that was cool!"

Australia Update

We want to thank all of you who have been praying for us. We feel your prayers! The longer this transition time stretches, the more we are pulling on God's grace. However, we know that preparation time is never wasted time. As you can see by this picture, there is plenty of Australia to go around and it is a big task to win this country for Christ!

God is preparing us for something big! God has given us clear direction and we are following through on that. We believe we will soon have a date to share with you. In the meantime, we will continue to seek first the kingdom of God through  reaching the lost. For all of you who are sowing into us, you have a part in the fruit of this harvest! Those who send receive the same reward as those who go! Thank you for partnering with us!

Blessings,
Stephen, Rachel and family
