India GeoReach
Greetings!
Seize the Opportunity! Since his first trip to India in 1991, Rod has been compelled to return with the Gospel message four times. Having experienced the magnitude of hopelessness in India's sea of humanity, (India's population is 1 billion) he is once again seizing the opportunity to preach the Good News of Jesus in this desperate nation.
(Rod preaching in an Indian village-1991)
Rod will be accompanied by one of GeoBound's board of Directors, Steve Wilson and his son Derek Wilson. Together, the three men will join in a Gospel campaign with their Indian national host, Harry Gomes. In addition, they will be guest speakers for the graduation ceremonies of Reverend Gomes' Harvest India Bible College and they will minister at several churches in Coimbatore, India.
They will have many wonderful opportunities: preaching the Gospel to the lost, give a charge to the Bible school graduates, encourage believers in the churches, pray for the sick and break demonic strongholds over the people's lives.
(Rod at India Gospel Campaign - 2005)
On December 29th, Rod will once again be taking the Good News of Jesus to a nation so desperately in need of a Savior and Deliverer!
We invite you to be a part of this journey through financially supporting one crusade.
The cost is $3,000.00, the rewards are priceless!
Blessings To You Through The Holidays!

Statistics of the State of Tamil Nadu, India
Coimbatore is the second largest city in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.
88.6% of the population is Hindu, 5.7% are Christian and 5.5% are Muslim.
Christians have grown in numbers over the past 20 years but a continued ethnic communalism and caste identity hinders Christian maturity and unity.
A majority of Christians live in the larger city of Chennai, while Coimbatore is much less evangelized.

Among the Tamil-speaking Muslims only a few are Christians and even fewer are Christian workers.
The beginning signs of revival are taking place among the Badaga tribe where the Gospel is spreading rapidly. This tribe is known for their traditional snake and rat catching.

GeoCARE Jocelyn Teague - Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Jocelyn Teague reports on her recent two-week outreach trip to Vietnam: "Thank you for your prayers and support. I wanted to give an update of all that happened in Vietnam.
I gave out all the donated clothes I took and bags of chocolate chips to the Sozo Bakery Shop; each person was grateful for the donations! After the 24 hour trip there, we helped to move the shop to a new location in the POURING rain! We helped to clean, cement, putty the walls and paint. It was a blast! We taught Vietnamese students at the English Corner at Sozo 2. It was packed full of about 120 students! The students are so into English and wanting to know new things...One day I set off on the motorbike to look for temples where the American team could drop Christian literature and Jesus films. The monks in the temples spend all their time studying and reading whatever they can get their hands on. A few years ago we decided to put together packets about Jesus to place in the temples which the monks could find and read. We were able to place six packets into the five temples we visited. We then headed to the Mekong Delta with University students and an American team. We spent the day on the Mekong River with students. This gave them a chance to practice their English with the foreigners.
We also took the American team to an orphanage about two hours away from the city. My heart broke for these kids. These children were abandoned for various reasons. The orphanage is allowing them to have their chance at life. We were able to deliver clothes and meals for the kids, make crafts and play games with them. It was amazing to see the Vietnamese University students join in on all the activities with the orphans. To see them help with their own people was a blessing. God has given me a heart for Vietnam. I can't deny what He has placed in my heart to do. I am currently seeking the Lord on the next step for my life.
*Jocelyn is planning full-time mission work in Vietnam in the near future.

Update From Baghdad, Iraq
November 7, 2007 - Report on the church in Baghdad, Iraq that GeoBound helps to support.
The following report is from the overseeing pastor in the region. Due to security risk his name is not revealed.
He reports,
"The church in Baghdad is in great trouble as so many Christians have immigrated or have run as refugees to Syria, Jordan and Lebanon, and the people are living under terrible fear. Three believers up to now, have been killed with car bombs and two kidnapped from our church. We had to pay a very high price to the Militia to get them back unharmed. In spite of all this, people are showing a great hunger for the Lord and about 20% of the attendees of the church in Baghdad are from a Muslim background. We have about 400 adults who attend the Sunday service and about 300 children in Sunday school on Friday because in Iraq, Sunday is a working day and Friday is off."
In 2004, the church in Baghdad had 400 members total. It has grown to nearly 700, in spite of the war, immigration, fear of the militia and severe persecution. GeoBound has been supporting this church since 2004.
Special thanks to Pastor Chad Lamb and Victorious Life Church in Paris, Texas for their contributions to Iraq!

GeoCARE Missionaries Tim and Natalie Ball
Tim Reports: MISSIONARY VISA APPROVED!
After a very lengthy process, Tim and Natalie Ball and their children, Catlyn, Zep and Zoe, have attained their missionary visas in Brazil. The Balls began their missionary journey in January and now have a continual status with the country to continue the ministry they began, indefinitely! After spending a few months in the States attaining their visas, Tim returned to Brazil on October 20th while Natalie and the kids joined him on November 7th. Since they've been back in Brazil they can see plainly why the enemy was fighting their visa process. The ministry has grown and expanded to now include: hospital ministry, jail ministry and relief to those living in poor neighborhoods. The students as the Bible school Tim began, coordinated these ministries as "projects" for their ministerial requirements for graduation, while the Balls were in the States. In the last five months their students have fed over five hundred people, given away two hundred Bibles and witnessed one hundred and fifty salvations, all to the glory of God!
Thank you for praying for the Ball family as they continue to minister in Itaberaba, Brazil.
