Haiti GeoReach Project
Greetings!
GeoBound joined efforts with Legacy Church and Continental Construction Company, both from Albuquerque, NM, and Feed A Child in Haiti, sending a team of men to build a school for children.

Christian School Building
The building was completed in only seven days. This is the first school to be built in the village of Lartigue, Haiti.
  Haitian pastor, Joseph Wilson was invaluable to the building efforts, lending his translation skills to the team members and Haitians alike! You might notice, in the photo to the right, that the roof looks unfinished, that's because another team will be adding a second-story church in a few months. |
School Needs
Would you consider giving a financial gift to provide
furniture and supplies for this Christian school? Though
the building has been completed there is still the need for tables, chairs, books and other items needed for the school. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated!

Salvation of Haitian Children
The team lived in tents in the village and had several
opportunities to minister to the people. Rod had the
opportunity to lead several children in a prayer of
salvation. |

Tim Reports: "The Bible school is running strong in Itaberaba, Brazil! We have 27 dedicated students excitedly learning new concepts from the Bible. One of our students was denied acceptance into a major Bible college in the United States about 6 months ago. Then he heard about our Bible college in Itaberaba and applied. He said, "This school is God's plan for this city. I'm getting the same education that I would be getting in the United States, but I don't have to leave my country or my family and it's much more affordable for me to attend."
Elizabeth Reports: " I had seventeen students eager to learn English this semester! Many told me that English is a beautiful language and that they hoped to visit the U.S. in the future. Knowing the English language will give them opportunity to travel, read books and continue their education, even possibly becoming translators for missionaries that come to Brazil.
The students told me that they enjoy the classes but would like to hear English music and play English games. In the future I will prepare songs and games that they can interact with. Many of my students are visual learners so the games, especially visual aides, will help in the teaching process. I want to see my students become successful and make the most of this opportunity they have to learn English. I'm honored to be a part of helping them fulfill their hopes and dreams." |
