Greetings!
Welcome to our new e-mail newsletter!
GeoBound was appropriately named since we are certainly investing the Gospel into so many regions of the world!
Here is a 2006 review of the missionaries and the countries they ministered in that GeoBound helped finance:
Anna Blake-Cambodia Craig & Sandra Kuehn-Philippines Adam and Jennifer Bostic-Peru Bryan Sears-Guatemala Simona Caba-Mozambique Nate Shuck-Philippines James Kwateng-Ghana Mark Robbins-Czech Republic Jocelyn Teague-Vietnam Suzanna Walker-Mozambique Emily Kingsbury-Romania Jesse and Kay Landis-Philippines Cornelio & Deborah Perez-Indonesia
Together we supported outreaches to Guatemala, and a medical outreach in Haiti as well as projects like the Pastor's Training School in Port au Prince, Haiti, the donation to the orphanage in India, financial support for the Baghdad, Iraq church, church building through the Amazon Expedition (Peru) and we purchased a van for Bryan Sears in Guatemala. GeoBound partners gave nearly $58,000.00

Guatemala Field School
The eight member team of Christ For The Nations' mission students finished their two initial weeks of cultural immersion. They were not allowed to have any communication outside the small village the directors placed them in. They lived with the local families and gained a new love for the community. The next eight weeks of their training they will be learning about the following: how to plant a church, community health evangelism, discipleship through literacy program, youth and children evangelism, urban city evangelism and working on humanitarian projects. Please keep them in prayer while they continue their intensive field training.

Van Purchased in Guatemala
Bryan Sears is the missions director in Guatemala for His Servants Ministry, and is a graduate of the Christ For The Nations School of Missions. Recently, GeoBound was given an anonymous donation designated to purchase this van for Bryan's ministry in San Juan Ermita, Guatemala.
|
Bryan writes:
"The youth from San Juan Ermita and friends from our church began praying for a new 15 pass enger van last August ... Thanks to an anonymous donation through GeoBound Ministries in Red Oak, Texas, the prayers of many were answered and the mountains were moved!" This new 2007, Toyota Hiace van will be used to transport numerous youth groups and the many building teams that visit the San Juan Ermita and Chiquimula regions of Guatemala.

Meet GeoBound Missionaries Tim and Natalie Ball-Elizabeth Balzano
We have added a new facet of ministry that developed out of necessity to assist missionaries on the field: it is called GeoCare (Covering, Administration, Relationship, Enablement). We now provide a spiritual covering, administration, financial oversight, communications, prayer and encouragement for two former mission graduates, Tim Ball and Elizabeth Balzano.(Tim's family along with Elizabeth are shown here in the photo.) Here's how GeoCARE started!
|
Nearly three years ago, Rod traveled with Tim Ball on a summer outreach trip to Brazil. Tim ministered in several large youth conferences and it became very apparent to Rod that Tim had a passion for the Brazilian people and the spiritual depth to match it. He was not only accepted in the culture but was offered many opportunities to return to Brazil to continue to minister, especially to the youth. On the flight home, Rod encouraged Tim to return to Brazil with his family and step into the ministry God had for them there. For the past 2 1/2 years Tim consistently traveled on short-term trips and ministered in Brazil. The opportunity to move to Brazil came six months ago. Tim and Natalie both were ready to make the commitment to move their family there. Another of our graduates, Elizabeth Balzano, "happened" to be an assistant in ministry with the Balls and accepted the opportunity to move with them and assist them on the field.
|
More about Tim and Natalie- Elizabeth
Tim and Natalie Ball have served as associate and youth pastors for the past several years in Ohio and most recently in Moberly, Missouri. We met this couple in 2002, when Tim, set pastoring aside for a short time to attend Christ For The Nations School of Missions. They, along with their children, Zep, Zoe and Caitlyn, and fellow mission graduate, Elizabeth Balzano, began their missionary experience together on January 23, 2007, in Itaberaba, Brazil.
Tim recently held a youth conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where nearly 2,000 youth attended. | |
Expanding the Board of Directors
In light of this tremendous growth, we felt it necessary to expand our leadership with several new members to give us counsel and become accountable to for the future of GeoBound's ministry. We have been blessed with the encouragement of dear friends and family, our advisory council, Ken & Martha Fitch, Dan & Joan Fleetwood and Lance & Lynette Milford.
We have taken the initiative to expand our Trustee Board of Directors which includes: Jerry Davis-Disaster relief Evangelist, Steve Wilson-Christian entrepreneur, Dr. Ron Bryce-Mayor of Red Oak, Texas and medical missions advisor, Aaron Wilson-former missionary and co-owner of Continental Construction Company (missions project coordinator) and Dr. Lee Martin- a pastor with an emphasis in missions education.
We are excited about our future! We are diligently preparing for growth and expecting that the best of GeoBound is yet to come! |
