Hi Everybody,
Here is a quick look at what is coming up for in the next few weeks for children and families at Grace.
Godly Play Schedule Changes
There are two upcoming Bainbridge School District breaks that will affect the Godly Play schedule. We will not have Godly Play on February 20th when the children have a five day weekend for President's Day. We also will not have Godly Play on March 27th, the first weekend of Spring Break. The nursery will remain open as usual on those dates.
Helpline House GivingIt has been so wonderful to see the sustained giving to Helpline House this year. Their biggest needs this month are meals in a can - hearty soups, Spaghetti Os, ravioli, chili, etc. When you are grocery shopping with your children, encourage them to pick out something to give for those in need.
Looking Ahead to Lent
Next month we move into the liturgical season of Lent. There are a number of special activities for families and children, starting with our traditional Shrove Tuesday Pancake supper on March 8th. And this year our Tuesday evening Lenten program offers something for everyone. Be sure and check it out in our most recent Grace newsletter.
