Mom's Morning Retreat is an inter-faith support program for mothers on Bainbridge Island and the surrounding community. This group recognizes that motherhood is a time of joy and challenge. They believe that there are benefits when mothers have a regular opportunity to be nurtured and fed, to reflect and share. I have been working throughout the summer with a dedicated group of planners and am thrilled to be a part of this program.
The first meeting is Thursday, November 4, at 9:30 AM. Mom's Morning Retreat will meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month, from 9:30 - 11:00am, at Grace Episcopal Church. Meetings are open to mothers with children of all ages. I am especially pleased to be supporting programming for the children which will include stories, art, music and snack. This year's theme is "The Gift of Life: Finding Joy Where You Are." We are thrilled to have Bev Gaines as our mentor to lead our guided discussions.
We're offering a special sneak preview of Mom's Morning Retreat on Wednesday, October 13, at 7:00 PM, at Grace. Come learn about us and meet other moms. Childcare and a selection of desserts will be provided.

Tuition is $90 for the year (14 meetings from November - June), or you may pay in two $50 installments (now and in February). Tuition covers activities, guided discussions, and children's programming. Partial and full scholarships are available on a confidential basis.
