Coming up for Kids

Hi Everybody,

Here is a quick look at what is coming up for in the next few weeks for children and families at Grace.

Acolyte Get Together, Wednesday, September 22, 4-5:30pm

This gathering is for those who have been acolyting for a while and those fourth through sixth graders who are considering becoming an acolyte. We'll take time to try on robes, practice lighting candles, share stories, ask questions and enjoy a snack. If your child would like to become an acolyte but can't attend on Wednesday, email Debbie Rimkus for more information.

Kids In/Parents Out, Saturday, September 25th, 5-8:30pm

Don't miss our first Kids' Night of the year on Saturday, September 25th. We'll start the evening with some art and games, followed by dinner and story time. After a little dessert, we'll wind down with a movie. Drop off is at 5pm with pick up by 8:30pm. To help us plan the right amount of food and supervision, be sure and sign up before Friday by emailing Debbie Rimkus with the names and ages of children who will be attending.

Faithful Parenting, Sunday, October 17th, 4-6pm

Faithful Parenting returns this year to help with the difficult questions and concerns we all share as parents. There be desserts for the parents and special activities for the kids. Come and connect with other Grace families as we wonder together about how to parent with humor, love, patience and faith.
