Homecoming Picnic on the Patio Sunday, September 12 Homecoming Sunday is a great Grace tradition, and this year
will be no different. Let's
celebrate our coming together with a picnic on the patio, Sunday, September
12. After the 9:30 service, please plan to
stay for hot dogs, hamburgers and veggie burgers provided
by Grace. We'll also supply
lemonade and iced tea . Bring your
favorite side dish, salad or dessert to round out our picnic fair. There will be special activities for the kids to enjoy and plenty of
time to visit as we rejoice in another coming together of Grace folk.
Godly Play, End of Summer Schedule A big thank you to all those who volunteered to help with the children's story and art time this summer. We are grateful. There will be no Story Time Classes Sunday, August 29 or Sunday, September 6 as we get ready for a new year of Godly Play and Godly Journey which will begin Homecoming Weekend, September 12.

Outreach
Easy as 1, 2, 3 (1 hour, 2 people, 3 Shifts) Friday, August 27 - 2-6pm Safeway is opening their doors Friday, August 27, from 2-6pm to assist Helpline House in stocking their much
needed foodbank. A few times a year the local churches on Bainbridge join
together to hand out flyers and receive donations for this much needed
community outreach. If you have 1 hour to help out, please let
us know. 2 volunteers per hour is recommended. We'll need 6 people to cover 3 shifts. If you have children this is a
wonderful experience for them to give back to their community. (A big thank you to those who have recently volunteered. We just need 2 more to help out next Friday for an hour or two). If interested, please contact Candee Heald in the Grace office, 842 9997,
