Who knew something as small as popcorn could turn out to be such big business.  Owner Dave Goodwin knew he could transform popcorn from dull to something unique.

Working closely with SBDC Assistant Director, David Dickerson, the two crafted a business plan and financial projections that both satisfied a lender and laid out a path for future growth that Dave has traveled at full speed.

Opened in late 2011, Goody's World Famous popcorn has made popcorn famous locally. Gone are the days of the traditional divided tins with butter, cheese and caramel popcorn. Goody's treats customers to a variety of flavors including caramel mocha, cheesecake, piña colada, jalapeño ranch and even beer!

Dave and his staff have a knack for marketing and continue to surprise everyone with their efforts. From their successful partnership with Amarillo radio station KISS FM to their latest announcement that Goody's will be available at the Texas Rangers Ballpark, they've built a loyal following of customers who need their popcorn fix!
