Le Chateau
Pet Resort & Spa

Dawn Hallgren

Amarillo's first luxury pet resort, spa and boutique! Dawn's new business has been in the works since spring of 2008, but it officially became a reality with the ribbon cutting that was held in June.

The SBDC assisted Dawn with her financial projections, business plan and QuickBooks training and now she's off to a successful beginning.

Le Chateau offers luxury pet accommodations for dogs and cats including private play yards, a swimming pool, in room webcams for the pet parents and four story kitty condos with aquarium views.   They also provide doggie daycare for those playful pets that don't like to be home alone.  Rooms fill up quickly and must be booked ahead of time so call Dawn today to book your pet's summer vacation!

We're sad to announce that SBDC consultant Lisa Gray will be leaving our office in July. Lisa has worked for the WT SBDC since March of 2007. She was hired as the Consulting Coordinator and because of her past experience running her own business, she quickly advanced to the position of Business Consultant.

Lisa has been a pleasure to work with and her always optimistic attitude as well as her office pranks will be missed! We wish her all the best as she moves on.
