Economic Development Task Force

A Bike Race in 2011?  lakewood criteriumThe Economic Development Task Force Needs Your Help to Pull it Off

The Economic Development Task Force and the West End Merchants have a great community event proposed for July 2011, The Lakewood Criterium, but they need community support to make it a reality.  A criterium is a fast paced circuit cycling race that would attract riders and spectators from all over.

Join us for a meeting on Wednesday, April 20 at 3pm at the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce if you are interested in supporting this event.  We will have representatives from the cycling community, the City of Lakewood, and the Economic Development Task Force on hand to discuss the event and explain where help is needed.
