Monthly Newsletter Life Changing Choices
February 2007

Greetings!

Gosh, its February already and statistics show that by the time we have reached this month, most of us have given up on our New Year Resolutions!

Suddenly the gym that we resolved to go to at least three times a week seems further and further away and its cold as well. Starvation has taken over on the healthy heating programme and buying new clothes for the new slim you is just extra expense so you might as well stay the weight you are!

But now imagine its December 31st - that right New Years Eve of 2007. You're lounging by the fireplace, thinking about the past 12 months...
"I have so much to be thankful for this year. I finally paid off the credit cards, had a superb holiday, have negotiated the purchase of a new house, really enjoy my job and my health and fitness is the best its ever been. I finally got my life in order"

What if those words were a promise to yourself this year to make 2007 the best year ever? A promise to make 2007 the year you turn your thoughts into actions, and your goals into achievements...the year you accomplish the three most important things you've always wanted and maybe even more..

You can do it! There's just one thing you need to do to get started.....take action.....and that is what we do best at StarChild, we help you to take action by offering you a whole range of therapies, and Life Coaching to help you do just that.

Make 2007 your year, the year where you achieved all you could ever wish for. Improvements in health, wealth, and lifestyle can all be yours - when you take that first step on the road to the new you.

With love, Bryan and Patricia Cobbold

  • FREE Life Changing Weekend

We are so excited by all of those that have told us that you have booked for the Breakthrough To Success Seminar with Chris Howard. We know, that like us, you will be absolutely enthralled by the Seminar and will be buzzing for months after. We went last October and we are still on a high! We learned so much and it was a stark reminder that there is always so much more to learn. There are just a few tickets left, so if you have been thinking about it, now is the time to take action before its too late.
If you have already booked you should have received an acknowledgement via email, if you haven't received it please let me know

    The Secret

Last month we told you of the wonderful free video you could watch called the Secret.
This marvellous video tells you how you can easily get out of life whatever it is that you want by a very simple method. But we had some complaints..........some found watching the video via computer link too difficult, so we bought the DVD! Want to watch the Secret on your television - then give us a call.

    Toothpaste - your feedback

I received this email the other day and was delighted that this lady had taken some action on a previous article I had written:-"I wonder if you could send me the list of 'not good' toothpaste ingredients again. I actually phoned Colgate as their paste contained some of them. They didn't deny it, but said the amounts were so small they wouldn't be harmful. Well, the ingredient which damages enamel seems to have affected my teeth. They were really feeling 'thin' and looking definitely yellower. So I changed to a paste which is claimed to build up enamel. Guess what, my teeth feel so much better (and my gums don't bleed any more either). They are also looking better too.I am using Arm and Hammer Enamel Care now and my teeth and whole mouth feel much improved. I am a very sensitive person though and have tried Pearl Drops for sensitive teeth in the past and it gave me mouth ulcers."

Why do some people fail and others succeed?

We are constantly being bombarded by approximately 2,000,000 bits of information per second via the input channels of our brain and our five senses. Your nervous system is designed to cut this massive amount of information down into manageable sizes, or 2 chunks". Out of 2,000,000 bits of information, you actually process only about 134 bits, or seven chunks. So you only process.000067 percent of all the information coming in.

Just for a brief moment look around the room and count how many things you can see that are yellow and then click the following link

Paracetamol - A deadly painkiller, even at the right dose

Paracetamol (or acetaminoiphen in the US) is the most widely used painkiller in the world. And considering it's a drug that's so freely available you'd imagine that it must be safe. Indeed, our drugs watchdogs assure us that it is when taken at the recommended dose of 4g/day.

    Fear of Success

Every year when Valentines Day comes around and the shops are filled with cards and presents to give to those you love, I always think the same thoughts. Why are people only urged to show love once a year?

It is great on a daily basis to show people that you care. A small hug, a special compliment, an act of kindness and even just a smile to a stranger are all ways of showing that you care.

But sometimes, we are reluctant to show how much we care - often for fear of rejection. Too often it is fear that holds us back, not only from showing that we care but from trying new things and venturing outside of our comfort zone.

Too much of our lives is driven by our fears, some big, some small, a few are reasonable but most are not. Some of them we don't even know that we have - some are stored in our subconscious mind so deeply that we don't even realise that we have them

When researchers interview elderly folks about their lives, they often ask a question like "What do you regret?" The most common answers are not focused on something that the person did. They regret the things they failed to even try. Why didn't they even try? You guessed it - the Fear

Make 2007 the year that you chose to overcome your fears, and step out of your comfort zone and go on and do those great things you have always wanted. Start focusing on your dreams until they become your reality.

Most of all make this year the one that says that YOU are important, and share that inner joy with everyone that you meet. A simple smile or hug from you, could make some one very happy.

Go on, I dare you to try it!
