Weight Loss
The TRUTH is: Weight Loss Doesn't Always Mean Fat Loss.

Most who have lost a lot of weight on a diet achieved up to 30% of the loss through a diuretic or muscle loss effect. Common sense tells you this is not a program that is going to provide life long weight management.

The loss of muscle mass means your body is less efficient at burning calories. That's because muscle tissue needs lots of energy and burning fat is how the body makes energy. It is also not as healthy. The heart is a muscle and can be damaged with rapid weight loss that burns muscle. This is some of the reasons our plan is superior.

Diets that leave you hungry or allows you to eat only three times or less a day will not give you maximum effect or provide optimal health. Diets that allow you to eat anything as long as you maintain a certain calorie count are destined to fail in the long run and does nothing to prevent poor health.

Again, diet success should be defined as not only losing weight (good) but also keeping it off. We believe success is losing almost 100% fat (best) and keeping it off while improving your health and preventing future illness.

Too quick of weight loss with the wrong plan is also bad because the body can't adjust its "set point" to accept the new weight as normal if the loss happens too quickly. This means these people almost always put the weight back on. The cruel irony is that when they get back to the weight they were and usually a few pounds more, the percentage of fat is also higher. So, at or near their previous weight they are actually fatter.

Our NEW YOU PLAN allows for fast, safe, effective, and permanent weight loss.
Weight Loss Doesn't Provide Real Benefits But FAT LOSS Does
The choice is yours, weight loss gimmicks and fads that don't last or an honest lifelong weight management program.

In addition to looking better in and out of your clothes, real fat loss, not unhealthy weight loss, provides real health benefits. Now that's a bonus that has real value. I know you have seen people that have lost weight too fast and they look terrible. That is a visual example of the difference in unhealthy quick weight loss and healthy fat loss. Which category do you want to be in. The looking good and healthy or the looking terrible and unhealthy?

At Saylor Medical Group we offer an affordable, effective modular system that allows you to take off fat (weight loss doesn't mean fat loss). We provide the truth, real world advice, understanding, appetite suppressant pills, fat burning injections, and meal replacements.

Most of our weight management patients lose a ½ pound to a pound a day and keep it off.

So, if you have 10 pounds or 200 pounds to lose give us a call today and you could be our next success story.

Over the years I have tested all variations of our weight management program on myself.  I'm getting ready to do one last test.

Between Thanksgiving and Christmas of 2007 I used HCG and lost 30 pounds.  After the first of the year I committed to doing 3 books this year.  One written around Mrs. Jeannie Pierce's recipes is ready to go to print, the second, a recipe book is due out late summer or early fall and the last based on the New You Plan is due out by the end of the year.

For the New You Plan I put the 30 pounds back on plus an additional 30 pounds.  I know know how the guy that ate at McDonalds for 30 days must have felt.

Daily or almost daily I will be posting my progress on the community board for everyone's review.

I look forward to getting this weight (fat) off.  See you on the community board

WEIGHT LOSS TIPS

Use The Following Mantras To Help You Stick to Your Diet
"The best portion of high-calorie foods is the smallest one. The best portion of vegetables is the largest one. Period."
"I'll ride the wave. My cravings will disappear after 10 minutes if I turn my attention elsewhere."
"I want to be around to see my grandchildren, so I can forgo a cookie now."
"I am a work in progress."
"It's more stressful to continue being fat than to stop overeating."

Diet Changes You Can Do Right Now
1.  Resolve never to supersize your food portions -- unless you want to supersize your clothes.

2. Make eating purposeful, not mindless. Whenever you put food in your mouth, peel it, unwrap it, plate it and sit. Engage all of the senses in the pleasure of nourishing your body.
Eat slowly. Chew 15 to 20 times.

3. Eating out? Halve it, and bag the rest. A typical restaurant entree has 1,000 to 2,000 calories, not even counting the bread, appetizer, beverage and dessert.

4. Use a salad plate instead of a dinner plate.

5. See what you eat. Plate your food instead of eating out of the jar or bag.

6. Juice has as many calories, ounce for ounce, as soda. Try to avoid these and have whole fruit.

7. Get calories from foods you chew, not beverages. Have fresh fruit instead of fruit juice.

8. Keep a food journal. It really works wonders.

9. Follow the Chinese saying: "Eat until you are eight-tenths full."

10. Use mustard instead of mayo.
