Pink -- soft...yet so strong.

Pink. A color so soft it is designated as the "official" color for baby girls...in the United States, at least. Along with the baby girl association tofsy, for all too many of us, the color pink is recognized as a symbol of strength, courage and hope. Pink also represents compassion and support. Breast cancer, along with other cancers found in women, affects each and every person in the woman's circle  -- children, husbands, boyfriends, brothers, sisters, moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandmothers, grandfathers and friends...yes, friends. Simply put, cancer is never an individual challenge. Because of that it is important to help where and when we can and in any way we can.

In life I have come to believe that there is power and strength in even the smallest of positive actions; so, in my own small way, I am partnering with all of you to help where we can. To do that, I have an All Things Pink! category on my jewelry site. I have always loved the color pink and it warms my heart to know that you love it too. It makes me even happier to know that together we can do something to help make a difference in the world. So, for each purchase you make from the All Things Pink! category, a donation will be made to both the Susan G. Komen Foundation (for its global reach in creating awareness and education) and Kate's Kids 4 the Cure (for its grassroots local reach started by an 8-year old girl who wanted to take action against cancer when her mom was first diagnosed with breast cancer eight years ago). If you'd like, you can read more about these two non-profit organizations by clicking here. And, to get you started on your pink journey, I've included a few beauties from the All Things Pink! collection here. While October has been slated the official breast cancer awareness month -- we need to be aware of it every day of every year. That's why the All Things Pink! collection is always active on my site and the non-profit support effort goes year-round. Be sure to check in often as I do add new pink designs on a regular basis. Feel free to browse and share with your friends and when you buy know that you are doing so with an open heart since each purchase you make helps create awareness, educate and support the women and their families who are experiencing the effects of cancer first hand.
