Happy holidays everyone. Can't believe it's December already.
BEST DIRECTOR for Mrs. W
2006 Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival
Mrs. Worthington's Party has won Best Director at the 2006
Fort
Lauderdale International Film Festival. The film features an
original score by Andrew Ingkavet and has a bunch of
screenings going on
around New England with it playing at the Cape Cinema in
Dennis, MA until the 14th of this month. Also playing in
Falmouth and Newburyport, MA before heading to Maine. Go
to mrsworthingtonsparty.com for more info.
I recently completed scoring and mixing a feature length
documentary entitled The Mighty Humble Blueberry. The film
by Nancy O'Mallon is an in-depth journey into the origins of
cultivation of this magical berry, it's powers and the woman
behind it all. Look for it at a film festival near you.
New Monks
Instant licensing featuring music from over 20 composers worldwide
We're always expanding our music selections in our online
licensing library. This month we're happy to feature the
acoustic rock pop of
Brooklyn-based Matthew Puckett, euro-electronica from
London's Simon Wolfe, twisted electronica stylings from NY's
Tom-phonic, and the hauntingly beautiful first meets third
world
fusions of France's Jerome Lamasset.
We love to participate in this ongoing festival called the
RIPFEST. Created by Raw Impressions, these guys and gals
give creatives all the tools, people, permits and promotion to
create completely new work in 16 days. The results are pretty
amazing given the constraints. Find out more at
rawimpressions.org.
