congratulations to all of the competitors and to everyone who helped make this event a success. the accolades and press reports keep pouring in.
thanks to the efforts of so many volunteers, sponsors, and staff from sail newport, the 2009 six metre world cup was definitely one of this summer's premier events.

rums of puerto rico presented two amazing cocktail receptions during the week. one on thursday night, sept. 10, before the rain took over, as the rums of puerto rico crew party. everyone had a chance to relax and watch the sun set over narragansett bay, while sipping a very special cocktail created just for this occasion.
then, on saturday night, sept. 12, we celebrated the closing of the 2009 6mR world cup with a toast at the rums of puerto rico cocktail reception preceding the awards banquet.
