tune-up & testing tomorrow:
 
an informal gathering of 6mR yachts will take place just outside of goat island 2pm, friday afternoon (9/4) for side-by-side tune-ups and speed testing, monitor VHF ch 72 for info tomorrow.
insurance requirements:
 
please take note that due to the labor day holiday on monday, tomorrow, friday, 9/4 is the last business day to organize the required insurance documents for your yacht to be eligible to race in the event. be sure to contact your insurance carrier and contact  kim cooper at sail newport to finalize your documentation.
awards dinner tickets:
 
saturday, september 12th.  this event will be a sell-out.  don't delay in ordering your extra dinner tickets.  all registered boats received 5 passes to all events for the week, including this dinner, and some even purchased more of the same at that time.  they are all set !!  there are very few spots left.
 
but now is your last chance to buy (more) tickets.  for these extra tickets only, you also now have a choice.  a week of parties with, or without a seat at the awards dinner. ($100 with, $75 without)  contact katie barker to reserve your extra passes now.

9am: view boats at alofsin piers
9:30am: daily announcements on VHF, ch72
12n: warning signals, racing!
5pm: watch the boats return to alofsin piers
6pm: social events, full schedule / purchase social passes
9pm: 6mR sailors welcome, the mooring regatta bar
