the yachts are coming!
sailors and enthusiasts,
the boats are making their way to newport, the parties are planned, the trophies have been ordered and all of newport is eagerly antipcating the 2009 6mR world cup in just over two weeks!
to date over 32 yachts have registered with 16 boats arriving from around the world this month, 9 of which are scheduled to make landfall in new york tomorrow.

it's official, sailors like to hang out in bars. so to accommodate all 6mR locals and visitors, we have arranged for weekly gatherings to grab a drink, share a tale, or learn what's new with the event.
all 6mR crew, owners, and visitors encouraged to join us

support boats take note:
all competitor's and volunteer support boats must register, in advance, with lyn comfort for accreditation and insurance. if accompanying a competitor, please advise us of your plans for towing out to the race course each day and if you are able to assist with towing a second boat. |
