Fancy Nancy Splendiferous ChristmasWell, there aren't many months busier than December! One event you can't miss though, is the chance to bring your fanciest little friend, in her fanciest outfit, to meet Jane O'Connor, the author of the new Fancy Nancy Splendiferous Christmas this Saturday, December 12th at 2pm at the Wilson Middle School in Natick. Jane will give a presentation and sign books for her fans in a free, public event sponsored by Wellesley Booksmith and the Morse Institute Library. Signed Fancy Nancy books make perfect gifts for the kids or teachers on your holiday list. For more details, please visit our website.

And we are very pleased to announce that our brand new, fancy website is now up and running! We have drop-down menus, even more bookseller recommendations, gift items, and favorites like our holiday recommendations for both ADULTS and KIDS. Best of all, when you order on our website, SHIPPING IS FREE! Please visit our new website and let us know what you think, and how we can make it even better. We love to hear from you!

Please keep in mind that if you are ordering books for holiday gifts, the last day for placing orders that have a good chance of getting here in time for Christmas is December 19th.

We would like to extend our thanks to all who came out for Wellesley's Holiday Stroll on Sunday! It was such a fun day to be in the store with live music, Christmas cookies and carolers. We love being part of this vibrant community.

10 years of favorite books
Since this is our 10th Anniversary year, we put together a display in the store of our booksellers' favorite titles from the last 10 years.  We've asked our customers for their favorites too and here are a few of them.  If you'd liked to tell us about a favorite book that you've read over the last 10 years, email us at newsletter@wellesleybooksmith.com or come into the store. Sharing great titles is one of the things we love about bookselling!
