From Betty: Wouldn't it be fun to have an evening book club (mid- week) when those of you who work during lunch hour could meet and be part of our store book club program? Let us know what you think, give us an opinion on evenings it might work, let us know what kind of reading you would like to do in a group. We look forward to hearing from you!

| 10 years of favorite books |
|
| Since this is our 10th Anniversary year, we put together a display in the store of our booksellers' favorite titles from the last 10 years. We've asked our customers for their favorites too and here are a few of them. If you'd liked to tell us about a favorite book that you've read over the last 10 years, email us at newsletter@wellesleybooksmith.com or come into the store. Sharing great titles is one of the things we love about bookselling!

This weather has been just wonderful. But as New Englanders, we know it's not going to last for long. Recent arrivals in the gift aisle this week are soft, stylish plaid earmuffs, skinny wool scarves, peaceful mittens, fingerless gloves and long polka-dotted wool gloves that reach to your elbow! So come out and shop while the weather is lovely, we aren't playing Christmas music yet, and you can cuddle up with hot chocolate when it's cold out - and all your shopping will be done! (Sounds pretty good, doesn't it?)
A special thank you to our Storytime Bear for modeling our warm winter wear!

Guinness is a 3 year-old Irish terrier who came in to check out the travel books. Here he is learning more about Ireland - or maybe where to find the best pub to grab a pint of Guinness!
He was a shoo-in for dog of the week. I couldn't resist scratching behind his cute ears whenever I walked past.
