Treadmills & Kids Don't Mix! Media Release

An increase in number of child accidents relating to domestic treadmills has led the NSW Government to introduce new safety standards for the use of treadmills in the home to take effect from 1st June 2009. 
 
A safety awareness campaign developed by Fair Trading warning of the associated dangers with home treadmills includes posters Treadmills and kids don't mix! Download poster here. Recommended safety tips are also available from Fair Trading.
