TMD's Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) certification sets the company apart as the only woman-owned national specialty distributor for Cisco products in the U.S.

WBENC's national standard of certification, implemented by the Women's Business Council - Southwest, is a meticulous process, including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier/vendor diversity programs.

"WBENC's certification is a multi-step approval process that TMD has been working toward for some time," said Darcy Harrell, CEO, TMD. "We are extremely proud to have been certified, and more importantly, to be recognized as Cisco's first and only woman-owned distributor in the country. We anticipate the certification will enable TMD to further support our partners' needs in fulfilling diversity requirements."
