Transmit DVI Signals up to 500m on a Single Fiber
RGB Spectrum's XtendView® FiberDVI™ is a compact single fiber DVI cabling solution for distances up to 500 m. FiberDVI consists of transmit and receive plug-in modules, with industry standard SC type jacks for easy connection of the fiber. This "all-in-the-headshell" solution uses miniaturized electronics that fit entirely within the DVI connector housing, eliminating the need for external boxes and cables, and greatly simplifying installation.
An additional bi-directional data channel supports real-time EDID pass through and HDCP. EDID is combined with the DVI video data, so only a single fiber is required, an advance over multi-fiber solutions.
Fiber optic cable is ideal for transmitting DVI signals over moderate to long distances. It is lightweight, secure, and immune to EMF and RFI interference. Different cable types are available for special requirements, including plenumrated and armored. Where "sniff-proof " security is needed, fiber is the preferred solution.

voLANte VDR110 DVR
The voLANte VDR110 is a networked, multi-channel digital video recorder capable of recording up to eighty hours of high-resolution, HD content over an Ethernet LAN. Fully compatible with all SVSi voLANte video-over-IP products, the VDR110 supports up to four independent DVRs, each capable of dual-sync recording for eight recordings and eight playbacks all at the same time.
With its 3U configuration and gigabit Ethernet connection, the VDR110 is intended for video-head-end placement with the ability to record from or playback to any voLANte video-over-IP encoder or decoder. A multi-seat license of SVSi's Conductor Server network management software is included with each unit so that users can record their desired video streams from anywhere on the video network through an attached PC running Conductor Pro. The VDR110 expands on the capabilities of the VDR106R Digital Video Recorder which has single-channel recording and playback up to 10-hrs.
When used in conjunction with voLANte video-over-IP encoders and decoders, the VDR110 is a simple and effective way to deliver high-fidelity video and audio when and where it's needed. Its time-shift feature and multi-channel playback capability allow a single live video stream to be delayed by varying amounts and distributed to up to four different locations at four different delays - ranging from several seconds to several hours. A simple web-based interface allows remote access and control when not attached to the local area network.
