Stewart Filmscreen Introduces Custom Device Driver for Motorized Control Products

Stewart Filmscreen Corporation and Crestron announced today the availability of a new customized Crestron device-driver for the operation of Stewart Filmscreen control technology products, including motorized screens and LED lighting systems. The driver enables Crestron dealers and programmers to easily integrate control of Stewart screens and lighting products into any Crestron operating system, and is available now for download on the Crestron website.

The Crestron driver package supports Stewart's IMC-100TM Intelligent Motor Controller family of state of the art motor control for projection screens and window coverings. These controllers are integral to a wide range of Stewart products that include the CabaretTM and AmericanaTM projection screens, as well as many other Stewart automation products. Stewart's motor control technology is seamlessly linked to lighting effects, which can now be programmed along with additional custom features by Crestron dealers using the new Crestron device driver.

The new Crestron driver package also supports Stewart's newly launched ILC-100TM Intelligent Lighting Controller, which uses unique LED controller technology to create lighting from a palette of up to 16.7 million colors. The lighting can be used for a wide range of commercial and residential applications, ranging from command and control, annunciation and signaling, to more traditional soffit and other architectural lighting settings. The unique color picking technology (ICT) integrated within the ILC-100, originally designed to support world-class color laser and color copiers, is fully supported by the Crestron device driver. The LED controller technology that permits this color mixing is under license from Philips, freeing dealers from any requirement to obtain a separate license for each installation.
Tightrope
Tightrope Media Systems Announces the Tightrope Partnership Program

Tightrope Media Systems has experienced exceptional growth over the last few years, and we would like to further strengthen the Carousel platform by offering strategic partnership programs. We are looking for Service Partners and Content Partners who can help us tailor our Carousel software to the individual needs of our customers.

Service:

Tightrope Service Partners are skilled programmers who have extensive experience with digital signage, particularly the Carousel platform. Using these assets, they work with customers to push the boundaries of Carousel's abilities and create new applications for the software.

Service Providers are fluent in control systems programming such as Crestron or AMX and understand serial data communications. They are also trained in Tightrope's Remote Data Adapter (RDA) technology and use that knowledge to help customers integrate need-specific commands with their digital signage system.

Above all, Service providers give customers quality, custom-built software that supplements their Carousel application in ways that suit their unique situation and needs.

A customer wants a system that displays full-screen emergency alerts when an alarm is triggered? A transportation authority wants the position of their trains or buses to trigger instant system-wide updates about arrival times? Tightrope Service Partners are there to help.

Content:

Tightrope Content Partners are creative designers with a proven history of creating quality digital content for software makers and end users. They use their skills to fulfill customer and dealer requests for engaging Carousel content and channel design.

Content Partners design logos, images, graphics and more, all centered around the customer's particular image and needs. This ensures that our customers' Carousel signage is unique and professional, allowing them to focus on their business instead of worrying about content creation.

A corporation wants a custom-made channel complementing their existing image and branding? A school wants a suite of classroom-themed templates so their system can hit the ground running as soon as they get it? Tightrope Content Partners are on the job.
