Visit Tightrope Media Systems at Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas

Tightrope Media Systems would like to invite you to visit our booth at the Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas Nevada! Stop by Tightrope's booth (#2029) for a demonstration on our recently released Carousel 6.0. Carousel 6.0 features a vastly improved template editor, as well as basic HTML formatting for text blocks, block shadow, block gradient and block reflection enabling users to quickly create highly stylized bulletins. We have added a lot of other new features as well, such the ability to automatically create seamless backgrounds across all of your zones.

We are also excited to announce that Tightrope has been nominated for a Digital Signage Association APEX award for a project that utilizes Carousel at the AirTrain terminals at JFK Airport in New York. Carousel is used to direct passengers to the proper train, identifies which doors will open, tells them when the train will arrive, where it will go, and a lot more. It utilizes Carousel's Remote Data Adapter to pull the relevant information directly from the AirTrain's traffic software. Additionally, the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey is utilizing Carousel's interactive capability in kiosks that are set up to help direct passengers to wherever they are going in the tri-state area. Chief's Mini RPA Elite (RSMA) is a miniature version of the popular RPA Elite® (RPM) projector mount, perfect for today's smaller projectors. The mini mount features a newly designed universal projector interface bracket with convenient lamp and filter access, providing even faster installation and servicing of the projector. At almost half the size of the original Elite mount, the new mini mount includes the same great features, including micro-adjustments for precise registration, Centris® fingertip positioning, and Q-Lock™ keyed locking. The Mini RPA Elite maintains registration when disconnected, has integrated cable management and supports up to 25 lbs.

Chief also offers a Mini RPA (RSA) projector mount, which is a miniature version of the industry-standard RPA® Series. New Product Launch at ISE Amsterdam: Professional Visualizers VZ-P18 and VZ-P38

A classic in the design of the new decade

For more than 2 decades WolfVision's Professional Visualizers have been regarded as the ultimate high-end units on the market. The first Visualizer VZ-10, launched at the Photokina in 1988, already contained WolfVision's patented recording system through two mirrors and synchronized light/image lenses. Up to the present day this system still remains unbeatable in terms of depth of focus, shadow free illumination and intuitive positioning of objects. The Professional Visualizer series has been constantly improved over the last 20 years, and a total of 18 different models have been released.

Now in the 22nd year of its success story, the latest models VZ-P18 and VZ-P38 have a completely redesigned housing adapted to the "look and feel" of the new decade.

An outstanding new feature is a touch screen remote control with integrated live image preview monitor, and a "digital laser pointer" which can be adapted in size and colour.

A second touch screen LCD monitor can be found on the head of the unit. For ease of use, the operational concept and functionality of both monitors are completely identical.

Collaboration with Power Point is as professional as never before. The integrated Seamless Switch allows for fade-over effects between Visualizer and Power Point images, and the new "picture in picture" function also merges both medias perfectly. Perfect picture quality, high mechanical stability resulting in a long lifetime, ease of use, and esthetical design have always been the basic requirements for WolfVision, all of which are clearly visible in the entire product line.
Both new Visualizers offer native SXGA, WXGA and 720p resolution with 30 frames per second and sRGB colour precision. The VZ-P18 achieves perfect picture quality with a 1-CCD camera, while the VZ-P38 is equipped with a 3-CCD camera. The advantages of the 3-CCD camera are even more lifelike colours and higher resolution with very detailed coloured objects.

Liberty introduces a new ConnecTec™ addition for RG6 Quad plenum rated cables.

The CM-RG6PQ-F is a RG6 Quad shield connector for plenum RG6 solid conductor cables. This connector features a "ferrule-less" design and fits Quad Shield and Serial Digital RG6 formats. This product features a Purple silicone band for identification from the Green non-plenum connector. This connector is tested to 3.0 GHZ for DBS applications and meets or exceeds all BellCore specifications for "F" Connectors. During qualification testing the connectors were pull tested over 80 pounds without removing the connectors. The design on the connector will allow this to fit most other competitor offerings of solid conductor RG6 plenum cables.
